Terms and Conditions (All Cob Courses and Cob Workshops)

Bookings: All cob courses and cob workshops are to be paid for at least 7 days in advance of your chosen cob course/cob workshop date/s. We will accept late bookings, if there are available places left on your chosen cob course/cob workshop, up to 24 hours before your chosen cob course/cob workshop date.

Refunds and Cancellations: A refund (in full) will be issued to the payee if you cancel your selected course/workshop date no later than 7 days before your chosen cob course/cob workshop date. Cancellations received within the 7 days prior of your chosen cob course/cob workshop date will forfeit all cob course/cob workshop fees paid. All cob courses/cob workshops have a maximum capacity of 6 persons. A minimum of 3 persons (per course) is required for a course to operate. In the event of singular and/or multiple cancellations to any course or if a course is undersubscribed, then we have the right to cancel that course and provide a refund (in full) to the remaining attendees that have booked.

Attendees: All Cob Courses are restricted to 16+ years of age only. Cob Workshops are not age restricted but every child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by at least one paying adult at all times. Children under the age of 6 years old are free and must be accompanied by at least one paying adult at all times.

Operational Environment: Our depot is an operational workplace with machinery and plant operating on occasion. ALL attendees must adhere to and respect the safety notices, restricted area/s signs and other users and patrons of this site. Due to the nature of our operations and your cob course/cob workshop content, ground surfaces can get slippery and/or material obstacles may be prevalent on floor area/s, therefore we have a ‘no running’ policy in place for ALL attendees and staff.

Clothing & Footwear: It is strongly recommended that protective over garments and wellie boots be worn during your cob course/cob workshop experience. Whilst we have some protective items for loan during your cob course/cob workshop, these are limited in number and sizes.

Face Protection: All handled materials are non-corrosive and non-toxic. Clay-based materials (when dry) do produce dust. Eye protection and dust masks are provided and are worn at the discretion and judgement of the attendee and/or when instructed to.

Vehicle Parking: There is free car parking on site however we do not have EV Charging Points. All vehicles are left at owners risk.

Photography/Video: Filming and/or taking photos of your cob course/cob workshop experience is allowed but appropriate consent/s must be sought from those in front of the lens if you want to share any images to social media.

All courses and workshops: All materials and tools are not permitted to leave site.

Personal Belongings: It is the responsibility of all course attendees to ensure that their valuables and personal belongings are safe, we do not have the appropriate facilities for secure storage of personal and/or valuable items brought on to site.

Food and Drinks: You are welcome to bring your own food and drink on to the premises. It is your responsibility to ensure that your food and drink/s are kept safe and secure. This is strictly an alcohol-free zone.

Acceptance of Terms: By booking your cob course/cob workshop place, you have agreed to and accept these terms and conditions.
